Travel guide

Getting around Makkah, Madinah and Jeddah

Smooth ground transport quietly shapes the whole pilgrimage. After a long flight, a driver waiting with your name means no queues and no stress. Between the holy cities, a comfortable vehicle lets you rest, recite and arrive ready for worship. Below is a simple guide to the journeys most pilgrims make.

Airport to your hotel

Most pilgrims arrive at Jeddah (King Abdulaziz International) or Madinah (Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz). From Jeddah, Makkah is roughly a one-hour drive; from Madinah airport, the Haram is about 20–30 minutes. We track your flight, meet you in the arrivals hall and take you straight to your hotel.

Between Makkah and Madinah

The two holy cities are about 450 kilometres apart — roughly a four to five hour drive along an excellent modern highway, with rest stops for prayer and refreshments. Families often prefer a private vehicle so they can travel on their own schedule and keep luggage with them throughout.

Ziyarah and local movement

Within each city there are blessed sites to visit — in Makkah the plains of Mina, Arafat and Muzdalifah and Jabal al-Nour; in Madinah, Quba, Uhud and the historic mosques. A dedicated vehicle with a driver who knows the routes makes these visits calm and unhurried.

Timing and comfort

Traffic around the Haramain peaks near prayer times and during Ramadan and Hajj. We plan departures around the salah schedule so you avoid the busiest hours, and every vehicle is air-conditioned and cleaned before each trip.
